In the mid 90s I discovered the usage of Roland’s TB-303, specifically for acid breaks. Back then it was all I could think of, The dirtier the bassline the better. If the track didnt have a 303 in it, I didnt want to hear it… NEXT!!!

I lived in San Macros off of Comanche and Pat Garrison (photo above) at the time in a three bedroom apartment with two other DJs, plenty of dirty dishes and lots of party stains on the floor. Here are just a few tracks I was spinning at the time:

Or, sit on your rockingchair on the front porch with your shotgun? Perhaps spend some quality time with your pharmaceuticals? Wait, those are all things I do. The awaited debut performance of Jeff Miller’s band Wonders of Dust will be Wednesday April 15, 2009 at Headhunters here in Austin, Texas. Headhunters is located downtown on the corner 8th and Red River. On a side note, I’ve had nothing but fun at this venue. In fact I recall daring Sheri House(and old friend of mine) to walk up to Quentin Tarantino and asking him if she could have a bite of his tasty burger. He was pretty nice about.

Okay so Wonders Of Dust are loud, they scream a lot… THEY ARE METAL!!! So join us at Headhunters this coming Wednesday and support Jeff and the rest of the band…
